The full text of the new Nestle-Aland (NA28) is connected in this bilingual edition with two leading English Bible translations: the new revised standard version (NRSV) and the Revised English Bible (REB). The Greek text and the two English texts confront each on a two-page spread, so that the eye can easily switch from one to another.

The NRSV is a revised new edition of the revised standard version. Originally it thus goes back to the King James Bible. It is published by the National Council of the churches of Christ in the United States.

The REB is an interdenominational revision of the new English Bible. It is published from 13 churches of England. Both the REB and the NRSV 1989 were published and based in the New Testament on the then-current editions of the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece.
